Hi Peeps

Jacs with this weeks Friday Masterclass were I will be concentrating on Making your own backing papers with Distress Inks.

I have 3 projects for you each using a different techniques, it has been really enjoyable preparing this post and I do hope you will give the different techniques a go, once again it would be a good idea to get your self a hot drink and something sweet this is going to be a long one, the first project is using Your Distress Inks with Masking Tape to make the tag shown below.

MC22

Before you start make sure you collect everything you will need:

MC6

Tag:
Tag Blank (available from J & C Creations please ring Denise for info)
Masking Tape
Penny Black Wood Mounted Stamp – Scented Message
Art Institute Dries Clear Glue
Distress Inks – Festive Berries, Brushed Corduroy, Victorian Velvet
Tim Holtzs Ink Blending Tool
Lavender Glass Glitter
Your Own Choice of Embellishments

MC1 - MC3

Cover your Chipboard tag with short strips of Masking Tape in a random pattern, turn any overlapping tape over the edges then trim.  Starting with Victorian Velvert Distress Ink and using your Blending tool cover the whole tag, then randomly  build up your colour using Festive Berries and then Brushed Corduroy.

MC4

Ink up your stamp with Stazon Jet Black Ink Pad, and stamp the tag using a good firm even pressure.

MC5    MC22

Add Dries Clear Art Glitter Glue along one side if the Tag then sprinkle Lavender Glass Glitter finally add embellishments as required, I have used a Tim Holtzs idea-ology Word Band (available on request from J&C Creations), a lace and Twine Bow and a small cameo.
