Penny Black stamp 'Wish for peace' was the beginning of this card. It has been stamped in Distress Ink Broken China on white card, then covered with a double sided sticky sheet. Trim the sticky sheet to fit your stamped image then peel off the protective cover and sprinkle with clear glitter, pat down and shake off excess. I've found this works far better than trying to stamp on glittered card.
I have since discovered the Wow glitter embossing powder that J&C Creations sell...it's FAB!!! You could stamp your image, let it dry then cover with Versamark or Perfect Medium and cover with the clear Wow glitter embossing powder and heat. This really impressed me because once the powder is heated not a single flake of glitter rubbed off.
The glittered image layer was then mounted on some turquoise mirri card, followed by a small layer of white before being mounted on a white card that has been decorated with clear embossed snowflakes. Once the flakes were cold I coloured the card with Distress Inks Broken China, Stormy Sky, Dusty Concorde and Faded Jeans, the embossing resists the colour and your flakes stay white.
The sentiment comes with the picture stamp as a set and that's stamped in Broken China too. The small Poinsettia is a Marianne die cut in white and coloured with the same inks as the card.
All of the items used on this card are available from J&C Creations.
